About this watch
A discreet limited edition: from the front this Speedmaster Professional reference 3560.50 closely resembles the reference 3570.50 produced at the time. It was released in 1999 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Apollo XI landing, limited to 9,999 pieces.
The difference is on the caseback. It is engraved with “Hello Houston, tranquillity base here. The Eagle has landed.”, the words spoken by Neil Armstrong, followed by the exact date and time of the landing and the individual number of the watch, around the Apollo XI mission medallion. It was the first of the Apollo XI anniversary editions with the calibre 1861 and was delivered on the bracelet reference 1498.
